Since the beginning of the semester (fall 98) I have been receiving the New York Times at my front door. It has changed me and enlightened me in ways that I will forever carry with me. The quality of writing is phenomenal. I have always loved good words. My friend Amber and I often sit around reading the dictionary for fun (don't ask). Well, I decided that I would have a web page devoted to cool words in the English (and perhaps forthcoming French and other) language. Most of these words were written down from articles in the NYTimes (1-800-NYTIMES...~$20/semester for students), and some are from my experiences with Amber and others. So I hope you enjoy, read, learn, and most of all...use good words!
