DAGH or ``Distributed Adaptive Grid Hierachy'' provides a data management infrastructure for parallel adaptive mesh techniques. With the use of this infrastructure we implement a simple model problem, the 2D wave equation, with which we have tested and constructed various aspects of the adaptive mesh refinement algorithm (AMR).
