Screen Clips of Atari Ghostscript
Below are links to a few color and monochrome screen shots of
Atari Ghostscript.
The monochrome images (ST high resolution) are from Ghostscript 3.12,
but the appearance of the interface hasn't changed much since then.
They are a little cluttered, since I was trying to show as much as
possible in just a few images. Monochrome images aren't very
impressive, but all I have is a mono monitor :-(.
- Mulitple Images. This shows
how mulitple PostScript images can be displayed on the
screen simultaneously. The number which can be displayed
is limited only by your screen real estate and your memory
(as if neither is a major limitation ;-).
- Dialogs. Here is a picture of some
of the dialogs which allow the page size, the device, and
the image resolution to be selected from within GS. In the
center of the screen is the icon manager.
- PostScript and ASCII Help. Atari GS has
on-line help in both ASCII and PostScript. On color monitors,
the PostScript help headers are red and grey.
- PostScript Page Selection. Atari GS
can be used to display and print arbitrary pages from large
PostScript files that conform to Adobe's structuring conventions.
The color snapshots (4-bit, 16 colors, 640x480) are from GS 2.61
running under Mag!X (a Multi-Tasking OS replacement). They were sent
to me by Martin Rothaemel.
