1/31/96 - Release of a version implementing support for elliptic

solvers, I/O and visualization
6/30/96 - The quality assurance features including the test suite and

the debugger in place

2. Component/library level
7/1/96 - Code structure, component list and interface specifications

all in place. This I believe is what is being done by the group

chaired by Tom Haupt.

3. Compositional interface (Syracuse)
11/1/96 - Definition of the capabilities of the compositional interface

will be available for review by the group.
1/31/97 - A feasibility demonstration prototype of the composition

support defined in the 11/1/96 document will be available.
6/30/97 - First release of the compositional interface will be made.
12/31/97 - The end of the computational/computer science work

will be reached.
