NAME

DESCRIPTION

Reads an ascii file assumed to describe a surface with S2 topology and a scalar function on that surface and outputs the surface (geometry), possibly color-mapped with the function. Data file consists of: nphi, ntheta, x_ij, y_ij, z_ij, f_ij with i = 1 ... nphi, j = 1 ... ntheta (i index varies most rapidly).
