Quotienting Procedure for Gauge Theories

Relativity Seminar presented by Larry Shepley at The University of Texas at Austin on 16 October 1997. I have scanned the 18 transparencies I used, and will soon be including a link to the paper itself.

As of Friday 17 October: I have corrected several typos; in addition, the original transparency "Example: Ineffective Constraint (3)" contained a calculational error, which I have not corrected. Also, I have added a response to a question (on the number of degrees of freedom of the general vacuum Bianchi Type I cosmological model) to the last slide.
