Gamma = 2 PF Critical Solution

ODE solution
-
Take CSS ansatz, reduce PDEs to ODEs,
which can be solved using LSODE in Maple. Notice that in constrast
to the ODE solutions for Gamma < 2, here the ODE solver merrily
computes a solution with v > 1 and omega < 0.

The following are PostScript plots
showing Carsten's SF solution (RED,SOLID lines) with the PF solution (BLUE,DASHED
lines). (I follow Carsten's convention, and plot 1/v when v > 1.)

v (using x = r/|t|).

PDE solution

These solutions obtained by solving
the full Einstein/fluid PDEs. The evolution code imposes a floor, or minimum
allowable value for rho (actually other variables related to rho).
